Just as there is a story behind each picture you choose to be showcased in your card, there is a story behind why I am creating cards that make your pictures speak. When my family first started our International adoption journey, I realized there were not many photo card options for families created through adoption. Most cards talked about the joy of a new baby but it was hard to find cards that celebrated the joy of welcoming a new little one (or two) through the miracle of adoption.
I had completed our family Christmas photo card early in 2007 and sent it to another mother I had met online. She in turn asked me to create a Christmas card for their family, which happened to be their first Christmas as a family since two of their children joined them from Ethiopia. Since that day, I have had the honor and privileged to create cards that welcome children into their families, that celebrate children becoming Canadian Citizens, to celebrate the birth of new babies, many family Christmas cards and more. Creating these cards became a fundraiser and proceeds went towards travel costs to bring our children home from Ethiopia. Now that we are home as a family, a percentage from each card made helps the beautiful people in the amazing country of Ethiopia.
Each card I make is a unique celebration of whatever story of joy and miracles that your pictures share.
